Please understand that we are unable to make exceptions to the following items:

We ship all orders fully insured. As a fraud protection measure, we only ship to confirmed billing addresses; the cardholder’s signature is required.
All client details must match your credit card authorization information.

We cannot ship to a friend, relative, jeweler, or other third party. If you want someone else to receive the item for you, they must purchase the item, have it shipped to their confirmed billing address, and review it on your behalf within the 7 day period. Obviously, we don’t recommend this!
Orders usually ship the following business day via FedEx 2-day or 3-day Express.

International Shipping:
We ship to a handful of countries outside of the US based on: availability of insurance –both to and from, ease of customs processing, ease of returns, and other factors.

We ship to Australia, Canada, the UK, and some EU countries, with the following limitations on the dollar value of items we can send:
Australia and Canada: Maximum purchase price $999USD
U.K. and some EU countries: Maximum purchase price $650USD

For international orders, we accept payment through PayPal only, please contact us for an order link.

International shipments may be subject to customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other charges. We do not have a list or information on the various rates for each country or province. Please investigate the applicable fees for your area before ordering. These additional charges required for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. When your order arrives at customs, the customs office will contact you directly to arrange for the payment of any charges that may be due.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. Orders paid by credit cards and/or PayPal are processed through our secure server.

Return Policy:
We want you, our customer, to be absolutely thrilled with your purchase!
Gemfix offers a 7 day inspection period to review your purchase. The 7 day period begins when you sign for and receive your item from the carrier. If you are not completely satisfied with your item, return it unaltered on or before day 7 for a full refund minus shipping. Items returned must be in the same new condition as they were when they were delivered to you. No gemstone will be accepted for a refund if it has been set, scratched, polished, chipped, fractured, weighs differently or has been altered in any way. We strongly recommend that you do not set your gemstone until you fully intend to keep it!
We do not accept items beyond the 7 day inspection period.

To Make a Return:
If you have purchased an item that you would like to return, you MUST contact us for an RA Number (Return Authorization) and special instructions on how to send in a return. Do not send in a return unless you have an RA#. Shipments will be refused and returned to sender if no RA is issued.
Before returning any item e-mail us at: or call (619) 696-0596 for the RA number and instructions.

In order to deter potential theft, please do not write any words on the package shipping label that may allude to the contents of the package (such as: Gems, Sapphire, etc.).
A refund or credit will be issued after we receive your return. Shipping costs cannot be refunded. If you paid by credit card, the charge will be credited back to your card. If you paid by PayPal, your account will be refunded directly.

When making a purchase, we ask for your phone number and/or e-mail in the event that we have any questions about your order. We’re committed to keeping your personal information confidential. The information we collect is not shared with anyone else for any reason, ever.
