Andrew is outstanding! He is professional, answers your email within the day, and brings his passion for this work to the appt. He is knowledgeable in this field and his range of gems to select from will make sure that “no stone is left unturned” in your hunt for the right piece for you. I am so happy with my gem (Montana Sapphire) and would highly recommend him.

Thank you again for all your help. Here is a photo of the final product. It’s on a Kirk Kara setting. Thanks again and hope you and your family have a great holiday.

I was on the hunt for a sapphire to honor the birth of my first child. I went to several jewelry stores and nothing felt special. It was like pick something out and they just pull it out of a drawer for you.
I found out about Gemfix and we went. It ended up being a wonderful, lifelong memory. Andrew, the gem cutter, spent HOURS looking at sapphires with us. He was patient, informative, and fun. He helped us find the perfect gem. We made it into a necklace and every time I see my jewel glow in the perfect shade, I feel so happy and know I made the right choice. My baby boy often plays with it around my neck. Why get something at a typical jewelry store when you can get something truly original, higher quality, and a great memory on top of that? I can not recommend Gemfix enough and I have a LOT of jewelry!
Enjoy!

Hi Andrew! Wanted you to see the jaw-dropping color and intense hue of this great spess! I can’t thank you enough, both for the stone itself and for getting it safely set by a jeweler who respected this stone.
Hope to see you and Laura before the end of the year to pick out a stone!

Best to you both—Christina
Oh, Andrew! I could not be happier with this stone. It is fabulous. Fabulous. It goes from indigo outdoors to teal to a dark grey-purple in indirect light. For real.
Maybe that is a function of the setting. ? Hard to see on a photo.
Here are some pictures. I tried to get a few personalities. As was with the last MT sapphire, it really glitters in low light, but that is hard to get a pic of, too…

The only engagement ring I ever plan to purchase, for the only woman I ever plan on marrying. 3.47 carat Yellow Sapphire set in yellow gold, surrounded by pink diamonds set in rose gold, white diamonds in platinum and band in platinum.
Ring was designed and made by renowned artist and jeweler, Jim Grahl of Balboa Island, CA.
And, she said yes.

Hi Laura,
I thought you and Andrew might like to see these little California poppies in their new settings…
I am so happy with the way the set turned out… They spessartites look unbelievable in yellow gold.
Thank you very much for the gorgeous gems…I couldn’t be happier!

Hi Andrew!!!
I just wanted you to know how much I love my oblong cushion indicolite tourmaline.
This is the end result.
Thank you so much. We gave it a good home and insured it as well. It gets lots of love admiring and shining up. One time someone told me they thought it was a lab created stone. We don’t speak anymore. Most say ooooo awww that’s a tourmaline?! Wow its the nicest thing in our store and the most unique. You should be proud of your beautiful work my friend! … Anyway thanks so much my friend. I keep telling people about you.

My husband and I spent over 8 months looking for a gem that would go perfectly with the vintage ring I had pictured in my head for my wedding band. We worked with several jewelers but none could produce the right color gem since I was looking for one that was in the teal green family with lots of color saturation. Las Vegas gem shows could not produce the perfect gem. Then we found this Montana Sapphire on Gemfix and fell in love. It is a 2.34 carrot modified cushion cut mounted in a fully custom, double-halo, rose gold, peacock-inspired ring. Notice the engraved peacock feathers in the outer halo. It was designed by ourselves and Green Lake Jewelry Works in Seattle, WA. I cannot brag about this beautiful gem enough and how it allowed me to realize the ring of my dreams. It’s beauty cannot be adequately displayed in photos. It’s color ranges depending on the lighting from teal green, to blue, to blue-grey, to brown. All I can say is who needs diamonds?

This wedding set was lovingly designed by my husband to showcase my love of the ocean. The star of the piece is a gorgeous 2 carat Montana sapphire from Gemfix. It is flanked by two natural alexandrites and features crisp rolling curves to mimic ocean waves. The GPS coordinates of the tropical island where we were married are engraved into the band. He knocked it out of the park!

My beloved wedding ring from my beloved
Darling husband proposed back in 2014 on a summers evening under an old fig tree. It wasn’t long before he surprised me with this stunning pink sapphire stone which ultimately became the show stopper of my wedding ring. Someday this stone will be handed down to our darling daughter and then onto hers. What a lovely family heirloom this peice will make.
