Description:
My husband and I spent over 8 months looking for a gem that would go perfectly with the vintage ring I had pictured in my head for my wedding band. We worked with several jewelers but none could produce the right color gem since I was looking for one that was in the teal green family with lots of color saturation. Las Vegas gem shows could not produce the perfect gem. Then we found this Montana Sapphire on Gemfix and fell in love. It is a 2.34 carrot modified cushion cut mounted in a fully custom, double-halo, rose gold, peacock-inspired ring. Notice the engraved peacock feathers in the outer halo. It was designed by ourselves and Green Lake Jewelry Works in Seattle, WA. I cannot brag about this beautiful gem enough and how it allowed me to realize the ring of my dreams. It's beauty cannot be adequately displayed in photos. It's color ranges depending on the lighting from teal green, to blue, to blue-grey, to brown. All I can say is who needs diamonds?
